Borissov Law Office has successfully completed the acquisition of the LPG business operations of Shell Gas Bulgaria EAD. As a result of the sale 100% of the issued share capital of Shell Gas Bulgaria EAD was acquired by Stichting Tigrane.

Shell Gas Bulgaria EAD is one of the leaders on the LPG market in Bulgaria. It covers the full spectrum of activities such as supply, trading, transport, distribution, marketing and sale of LPG and equipment for use of LPG, operation of filling plants, storage of LPG, as well as purchase and use of installations and other equipment used for such activities.

The transaction is part of the restructuring strategy adopted by Shell to dispose of its LPG businesses globally.

Borissov Law Office was instructed regarding the Bulgarian end of the global acquisition. The work entailed advice on the whole transaction process, including due diligence of the target, share transfer and representation before the Bulgarian Competition Protection Commission.
